Skiing hero Jai Geyer has regained his slalom title in Italy which he last held two years ago.
The Great Britain team member from Ipplepen has returned with an awesome result after his
run of injuries during the 2010-2011 season which prevented him from attending the English
Alpine Championships last winter.
After a successful first and second placing at a Citizen Series event in Germany,
Jai went onto to gain a victory at the slopes of Bormio. The event attracted International
skiers from Germany, Switzerland and New Zealand, and Geyer earned an amazing second place
overall after the first run. The second run did not go quite as planned which cost Geyer
the overall title and resulted in him placing fifth over all, however this was enough to earn
him the position of best Brit with a time of 92.45 seconds.
Geyer now turns his attentions to the British Championships which take place in late March.
